Security & access control

Although closely related, security and access control represent two separate aspects within the security sector. Security encompasses a broader range of measures, such as physical security, surveillance systems and security personnel, aimed at protecting property and people. Access control focuses specifically on regulating and managing access to certain areas or resources, often using technological systems such as card readers and access codes.
